What we collect

• The story, answers, names, and pronunciation notes you provide.
• Optional photos and voice recordings you choose to upload or record.
• Your email address, for order access and delivery.
• Payment confirmation from our payment processor (we never see or store your card number).
• Basic usage events (pages visited, steps completed) to improve the experience and measure advertising.

How we use it

Only to create, deliver, and support your song, to prevent abuse, and to understand how the service performs. We share information with service providers that help us generate music, video, images, transcription, email, and payments, under agreements that limit their use to providing that service.

Photos and voice consent

By uploading photos or recording your voice, you confirm you have the right to share them and that people pictured or recorded would reasonably be comfortable with their use in a private gift. Voice recordings are used to understand your story and, if you choose, for a voice introduction.

Recipient privacy

Gift pages are unlisted and open only with their private link. You can turn off reactions, change the message, or close the gift page at any time. Recipient reactions are optional and visible only to the order owner.

Retention and deletion

We keep order materials for up to 365 days after delivery so you can revisit and share your song, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Email info@tunegiver.com to request deletion; we'll remove your story, uploads, and song files from active systems, with backups cycling out on their normal schedule.

Advertising and analytics

We may use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand which pages help people find us. Your story content is never sent to advertising platforms.
